The Linea Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. The back is knitted first back and forth on the needle with short rows to shape the curved form of the back piece. Along the back’s cast-on edge, a line in a contrast color is then knitted to highlight the shaping of the back. The shoulders and front piece are knitted from stitches picked up along this line. The sleeves are knitted from stitches picked up at the armhole. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline where a ribbed neckband is knitted.
Size Guide
The Linea Sweater should have a positive ease of about 30 cm. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size M. A size M sweater has a chest circumference of 127 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 32 cm. The measurement chart is available here.
