Hannah Sweater O-neck - PetiteKnit

The Hannah Sweater is preferably knitted in Heavy Merino from Knitting for Olive or Gilliatt from De Rerum Natura.

The Hannah Sweater O-neck is knitted from the top down. First, the back is knitted back and forth on the needle with increases. Then the shoulders and front piece are knitted from stitches picked up on the back. The sleeves are knitted from stitches picked up at the armhole. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and a neckband is knitted in double ribbing.

Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash the swatch before measuring.

The Hannah Sweater O-neck should have a positive ease of 35 cm in the smallest sizes, gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished garment measurements are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 95 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size M.
