The French Market Bag is knitted from the bottom up. The bottom is smooth and knitted on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are knitted in a lace pattern on circular needles. The upper edge of the bag is finished with an i-cord edge. The lining is sewn to have the same construction as the bag and is attached to the finished knitted bag. Finally, the shoulder straps are mounted in core leather.
