ISAGER ECO BABY consists of 68% Baby Alpaca and 32% Organic Pima cotton. It has a length of 150 m on 50 g, and we knit it on needles 4 – 5. There is no softer yarn, and therefore the quality is suitable for knitting for the very little ones. Since the colors are also pure natural colors without the use of chemicals, we can also recommend it to people with sensitive skin who normally cannot tolerate wool on the body.
Eco Baby is very suitable for baby clothes and small sizes, but be careful with the large sizes, especially on large sticks, as it tends to "grow".

STICK STRENGTH

Eco Baby: needles 3.5 – 10 cm = 22 sts/30 rounds
Eco Baby + Alpaca 1: needles 3.5 = 20 sts/29 rounds
Eco Baby + Spinni: knit 4 = 18 sts/26 rounds
Eco Baby + Merilin: knit 5 = 16 sts/24 rounds
Eco Baby + Silk Mohair: knit 5 = 16 sts/22 rounds

Washing advice

Wool is washed by hand, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can be washed in cold water. To avoid warping in the finished model, only a little soap is used. Use an approved wool detergent. Keep the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and finally do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted model can advantageously be spun easily after washing. Place the model in a laundry bag or pillowcase. After the centrifugation, the model is laid out to dry on towels.

It is not necessary to wash a wool model often. It is often enough to hang it up for ventilation in damp weather. Cotton yarn and mixed yarn with flax and bamboo can withstand higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same wash as the wool yarn.

Storage

Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags. A bucket or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid is also suitable.
Isager yarns are not moth-treated, as the agents available are not without side effects in relation to allergy sufferers and also only last for the first wash.
