Poems in Masks – Solveig Hisdal, mod. 112
For the book Poems in Masks, designer Solveig Hisdal drew inspiration from traditional patterns and techniques from, among others, textiles, rosemaling chests and cupboards, wallpapers, national costumes, and bridal cloths. She visited museums to gather knowledge and inspiration, and used this to create a book full of knitted treasures. The book was published in 1997 and is unfortunately not available for sale today.
Model 112 is knitted in Hjerte Superwash. The yarn pack contains the pattern and enough yarn for the largest size.
Inspired by a collection of christening gowns from Drammen Museum. This small set is both beautiful and practical.
