This pattern is in Swedish.
We recommend knitting with these yarns:
Luna, 100% lambswool from Hillesvåg (200 m/100 g)
held together with Alpacka 1 from Isager (400 m/50 g).
Dagmar Sweater is knitted from the top down in a textured stitch pattern. First, the upper back is knitted with increases. The shoulder sections are then knitted from stitches picked up along the top of the back piece. The body is knitted in the round on a circular needle. The sleeves are knitted in the round on a circular needle from stitches picked up around the armhole. Finally, a ribbed neck edge is knitted.
Make a gauge swatch to determine which needle size gives you the correct gauge. You can make swatches from charts in knitting patterns.
Size guide
Dagmar Sweater is designed to have approximately 26 cm of positive ease in the smallest sizes, gradually decreasing in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are provided on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 116 cm and will provide 26 cm of positive ease in this example. A measurement chart is available here.
