The Coast Bag is knitted from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and knitted in stockinette stitch on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are knitted in a lace pattern on circular needles. At the top, the bag is divided into two parts, and each part is knitted back and forth with decreases. The bag is finished with two knitted handles.
