Cloud Top - Petite Knit
It is perfect with two strands of Pure Silk or Cotton Merino. Here we have chosen Pure Silk.
The Cloud Top is knitted from top to bottom. First, the upper part of the back is knitted back and forth, and short rows are knitted to create a shoulder slope. Then the shoulder parts are knitted separately back and forth. Here too, short rows are knitted. The parts are then joined at the front and knitting continues on the front piece. The front piece and back are then joined to shape the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle. Along the neckline and armhole, stitches are picked up and a stockinette edge is knitted.
Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
Size guide
The Cloud Top should have a positive ease of about 2-5 cm. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement, taken on the body, of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished top are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has a chest width of 92 cm and will in the mentioned example give a positive ease of 2 cm.
