Cloud Top by PetiteKnit will be so beautiful and comfortable in Robinson from De Rerum Natura!
Cloud Top is knitted from the top down. First, the upper back is knitted back and forth, with short rows worked to create a shoulder slope. The shoulder sections are then knitted separately back and forth. Short rows are worked here as well. The sections are then joined at the front, and the front is worked. The front and back are in turn joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle. Stitches are picked up along the neckline and armholes, and a stockinette stitch edging is knitted.
Make a gauge swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
Size guide
Cloud Top is designed to have approximately 2–5 cm of positive ease. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement, taken around the body, of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished top are listed on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A size S top has a bust circumference of 92 cm and will provide 2 cm of positive ease in this example.
