It is perfectly possible to knit in our fine Heavy Merino from Knitting for Olive instead or Hillesvåg wool yarn Varde.
Celeste Sweater Man is knitted top down with a circular needle. First, a double-fold neck edge is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted around in pattern knitting with 5 different colors according to the diagram. Shortened rounds are knitted, after the pattern knitting of the yoke, to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch and both are finished with an elastic edge.
Be aware that pattern knitting should often be knitted on a 0.5-1 mm coarser stitch size than solid plain knitting. Therefore, do a sample in both pattern knitting and solid plain knitting, before you start knitting.
Size guide
Celeste Sweater Man should have a range of motion (positive ease) of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) ) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If you e.g. measures 103 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body) you should knit a size L. A sweater in size L has an overall width of 119 cm and in the mentioned example will give a range of motion (positive ease) of 16 cm.
