This knitting pattern is in Swedish

It is perfectly fine to knit with our beautiful Heavy Merino from Knitting for Olive instead or Hillesvåg wool yarn Varde.

Celeste Sweater Man is knitted top-down with a round yoke. First, a double-folded neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in colorwork with 5 different colors according to the chart. Short rows are knitted after the yoke's colorwork to knit the back higher and thereby create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and both are finished with a ribbed edge.

Be aware that colorwork is often knitted on needles 0.5-1 mm larger than those used for plain stockinette. Therefore, make a gauge swatch in both colorwork and plain stockinette before you start knitting.

Size guide

Celeste Sweater Man should have a positive ease of about 10-15 cm relative to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, taken on the body, of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 103 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size L. A sweater in size L has a chest circumference of 119 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 16 cm.
