Aviayatop- Danish

The Aviaya Top is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom in half ribbing with 2 strands of either Pure Silk or Merino held together at all times. The bands and the triangular parts are knitted flat back and forth before the work is joined at the underarms and continues around the body. The top’s two upper halves from center front to center back are identical. First, one half/side is knitted before the other half/side is knitted in exactly the same way.

Yarn: 2 strands Knitting for Olive Pure Silk or Merino (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering weight yarn, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 8) skeins. The sample is in Pure Silk in the colorway Wheat
Needles: Circular needle 3.5 mm / US4 with 80 cm [32"] cable length, or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 15 sts and 46 rows = 10 cm [4"] in half fisherman's rib with 3.5 mm / US4 needles
Note that 46 rows in half fisherman's rib count as 23 knit stitches in one column
