Audrey Top - Knitting for Olive

The Audrey Top looks so beautiful in two strands knitted together from our lovely Pure Silk by Knitting for Olive.

The Audrey Top is knitted from the bottom up. The body is first knitted in the round in stockinette stitch before the work is divided into front and back pieces, which are knitted separately back and forth in stockinette stitch with decreases on each side. The shoulder straps are knitted as i-cord.

Make a gauge swatch to check your tension. Wash the swatch before measuring because the recommended yarn will stretch when washed and worn.

Size guide

The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a bust measurement of approximately 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The Audrey Top is therefore worn with a positive ease of 0-5 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 89 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A top in size S has a bust circumference of 90 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 1 cm. The model in the picture is wearing a size XXS, has a bust measurement of 78 cm, and is 164 cm tall. The top is thus worn with a positive ease of 2 cm.
