This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
We have chosen Isager soft Alpaca 3.
The Zipper Slipover is knitted from top to bottom. The neckline is knitted in ribbing, which is folded double and knitted down. After this, the shoulder sections are knitted with increases on both the right and wrong sides, and short rows are knitted to shape the neckline. The stitches of the front pieces are put on hold while the back is knitted. Then the front pieces are knitted, and finally the front pieces and back are joined to shape the body, which is knitted downwards. A ribbed edge is knitted at the armhole from picked-up stitches. Lastly, facings for the zipper are knitted from the held stitches, so that the zipper looks neat also from the wrong side. The zipper is finally attached by sewing it in between the two knitted layers.
Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
Size guide
The Zipper Slipover should have a positive ease of about 25 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, taken on your own body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished slipover are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 88 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A slipover in size S has a chest circumference of 113 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 25 cm.
