Weekend Sweater - Petiteknit
This knitting pattern is in Swedish.
Here we choose beautiful Varde from Hillesvåg and knit together with 1 thread Silk Mohair from Isager.
The Weekend Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. First, the upper part of the back is knitted back and forth with short rows, so that a slope is formed on the shoulders. Then the shoulder parts are knitted, which are then joined at the front to knit the front piece. The front piece and the back are then joined to shape the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. The sleeves are knitted from picked-up stitches along the armhole and knitted in the round on circular needles and double-pointed needles or with Magic Loop technique. The ribbing at the neck is knitted last.
Knit a swatch to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
Size guide
The Weekend Sweater should have a positive ease of about 30 cm in the smallest sizes but gradually less in the larger sizes. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured directly on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has a chest width of 120 cm and will in the mentioned example give a positive ease of 30 cm.
