ISAGER ALPACA 1 is a perfect companion yarn that you can substitute for Soft Silk Mohair.
You can also knit the soft Alpaca yarn on its own for items such as scarves or shawls.
The color range is incredibly beautiful on its own but also creates an exciting effect if you wish to knit it together with other yarns.
ISAGER ALPACA 1 is a fine, soft, and thin 100% alpaca yarn, spun with 2 strands. You can knit it alone, but it is most often used as a companion yarn together with Isager’s other yarns.
Here you can also play with the colors. One strand of Alpaca 1 can create an exciting color effect when knitted together with other colors. The yarn can also tie colors together if many different colors are used in one model.

Washing instructions
Wool should be hand washed unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can wash in cold water. Use an approved wool detergent. Maintain the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process and do not wash above 28 degrees Celsius. The knitted garment can advantageously be gently spun after washing. Place the garment in a laundry bag or a pillowcase. After spinning, lay the garment out on towels to dry.
It is not necessary to wash a wool garment often. Usually, it is enough to hang the garment up to air out. Cotton yarn and blended yarns with linen and bamboo tolerate higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same washing instructions as for wool yarn.
Storage
Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags or in a plastic box with a lid. This is because Isager yarns are not treated against moths, as the agents available have side effects for allergy sufferers and only last until the first wash.
