Isager Alpaca 1 -3

ISAGER ALPACA 1 is a perfect companion thread that you can replace with Soft Silk Mohair.

You can also knit the soft Alpaca yarn by itself for e.g. scarves or shawls.

The color scale is incredibly beautiful in itself but also creates an exciting effect if you wish to knit together with other yarn.

ISAGER ALPACA 1 is a fine, soft, and thin, 100% alpaca yarn, spun with 2 threads. You can knit it on its own, but it is often knitted as a companion thread together with Isager's other yarns.

Here you can also play with the colors. A thread of Alpaca 1 can create an exciting color effect when knitted together with other colors. The thread can also tie the colors together if many different colors are knitted in one model.

Washing advice

Wool should be washed by hand, unless you have a washing machine with a very gentle wool program that can wash in cold water. Use an approved wool detergent. Maintain the same temperature throughout the washing and rinsing process, and do not wash above 28 degrees. The knitted garment can be gently spun after washing. Place the garment in a laundry bag or in a pillowcase. After spinning, lay the garment out on, for example, towels to dry.

"It is not necessary to wash a wool garment so often. It is usually enough to hang the garment up for airing. Cotton yarn and blended yarn with linen and bamboo can withstand higher washing temperatures, but we recommend the same wash as wool yarn."

STORING

"Remember to store yarn and knitting in plastic bags or tightly woven cotton bags or in a plastic box with a lid. This is because Isager yarn is not moth-treated, as the substances present are not without side effects for allergy sufferers and also only last until the first wash."
