You can advantageously knit with 1 thread of Twinni together with 1 thread of Silk Mohair from Isager.
The Agnete Cardigan is knitted from top to bottom in brioche stitch. First, a piece is knitted in double knitting that will sit at the neck and connect with the front edges. Then stitches are picked up from this piece to continue knitting the back piece. Next, the right front piece and left front piece are knitted. These three parts are joined in the next step to continue knitting the body, which is knitted back and forth in brioche stitch with front edges in double knitting. Buttonholes are knitted along the double-knitted front edges at the same time. Then stitches are picked up at the armhole, and from these stitches, the sleeves are knitted.
Make a gauge swatch before you start knitting to find the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Be aware that the gauge in height (i.e., number of rows per 10 cm) can vary depending on the yarn you use. The most important thing is that the gauge in width (i.e., number of stitches per 10 cm) is correct.
There is a video with the techniques brioche stitch and double knitting at www.petiteknit.com.
Size Guide
The Agnete Cardigan should have a positive ease of 10-15 cm in relation to your bust measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust measurement, measured on the body, of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your bust (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A cardigan in size S has a finished width of 105 cm and will in this example give a positive ease of 15 cm.
