Yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk can be washed on gentle wool programs (wool cradle) in most modern washing machines. All machines wash differently, and we cannot guarantee that the garment will not felt in your machine. We recommend knitting a swatch and washing it in the machine before washing a whole garment. Wool tolerates spinning, but tumbling can cause felting. Always wash one garment at a time if washing in a machine, and dry the garment flat on a towel.
